Fun Began Zodiac
The 12 songs on “Where Were You When The Fun Began?” each correspond to one of the 12 signs of the western zodiac. For fun, Harvey Gitlin ( Sagittarius), illustrator & I (Capricorn) decided to create our own zodiac to reflect the well-known one, & fulfill cover designer Sandy List’s (Taurus) vision of the art work as a winsome miss with thought balloons of cartoon art.
Because Fun Began is the title tune, Aries (locomotive), & Gemini (Harlequin) agreed to switch their spots 1 & 3 in the order. The others remain in natural house positions. Hopefully each illuminates some aspect of experience said to be emphasized by that house. Harvey Gitlin’s illustrations straddle the stories with our 12 new icons & the 12 familiar glyphs.
